On this tour you will be able to enjoy the locally produced wine from a small family winery and enjoy traditional Montenegrin lunch and liqueurs at the beekeepers farm. Even though the highlight of this tour is on gastronomy, it would feel a little bit incomplete without combining it with natural beauty of Montenegro. That’s why we will pass through the zones of Lake Skadar and old royal capital Cetinje and acquaint you with all you need to know about the significance this region had throughout history.     The tour begins when you are picked up from your accommodation and driven towards Lake Skadar.

  • 1 hour: Local winery visit

    On the visit to the winery you will sit in authentic Montenegrin household, and learn more about the family tradition and learn about the process of wine production. You will sample Rose, White and Red wine offered by our host. You will also have a chance to sample other home made products, traditionally from this region.

  • 45minutes: Ride to Rijeka Crnojevica and visit of the town

    We will pay a short visit to Rijeka Crnojevica, old fishing village. In medieval Montenegro this small village had a great significance.

  • 40 minutes: Ride to Pavlova Side viewpoint / Photo stop / Ride to Cetinje

    You will now be driven to the Pavlova Side (Pavlova Strana) for a photo stop. This is one of the most famous viewpoints at Lake Skadar and one of the most famous viewpoints in the whole of Montenegro. Site is also listed in well-read travel and destinations magazines as one of the most spectacular views in the world. After the photo stop, we will continue or way towards Cetinje – old royal capital.

  • 1 hour: Cetinje – Walking tour and free time

    After arriving at Cetinje we will walk through the historical path of this cozy town. We will visit the Cetinje Monastery, pass next to Cipuri church, new castle – Biljarda, King Nicola's castle – today museum, the Presidential Palace and take a walk on the main pedestrian street. Cetinje is a city museum, and it has a lot of interesting stories about the hard but proud life of people in medieval Montenegro. After, we will take 10 minutes ride to local village.

  • 2 hours: Beekeepers farm – Visit and lunch

    After this walking tour, we will visit the local beekeepers farm in the village near Cetinje. We will arrive at the farm of the local family and visit their 200 years old house. Our host will show you the beehives and tell you stories about his ancestors and this region. You’ll have a traditional Montenegrin lunch made up of local specialties and you will have opportunity to taste our host’s specially brewed homemade liquors made of fruits and honey. The interior of the house is unique and it will make you feel privileged.

  • Drive back to your accommodation
