Take a chance to enjoy the beauty of the largest lake in Balkan Peninsula. In this amazing wildlife hotspot in the center of Montenegro, you can find more than 270 species of bird and almost 60 fish species. Stroll down the Lake, enjoy the beautiful panoramic view and experience local gastronomy characteristic for the Lake Skadar region. Combination of beautiful nature and wildlife of the largest lake in Balkans with the traditional local cuisine is what makes this tour a perfect getaway from everyday life.

Meeting point for the tour is in small fisherman town of Virpazar.
After you meet with your captain in Virpazar, you will start the boat ride. You will enjoy the most beautiful scenery and learn about Lake Skadar’s value as the great natural and cultural resort of Montenegro. If we are lucky we will enjoy the bird watching of some rare species that are common to the lake, or even take a swim if the weather conditions allow. We will start our boat ride through the narrow canal that connects Virpazar with the largest part of the Lake. We will pass by the island and fortress called Lesendro, which held a great importance in Ottoman and Montenegro conflict. The beautiful surroundings and mountain ranges around will make the Lake a most perfect place to have a romantic, family or lunch with your friends. Our host will prepare the fish from the Lake, which will be combined with side dishes and local snacks. You will also be able to try the homemade wine and Rakija brandy of our host, or just regular water or juices.
