Let us take you to the unique natural zones of Montenegro. This package will give you opportunity to explore 3 different mountain ranges positioned in different regions, with different flora and landscape. Each zone has its own micro climate, gastronomy, forest communities and tradition. Mountains down south will give you opportunity to admire sea view from their peaks, while northern zones will open their self with spectacular views towards glacial lakes and deepest canyons. All of this can be done without too much of travel and hustle, with great mountain trails and our interesting tour guides.
After the breakfast we will take ride in direction of Cetinje and Lovcen mountain national After a while we will come to Ivanova Korita, famous nature escape zone, positioned in the walley bellow the highest peaks of Lovcen Mountain.
Babina Glava hiking tour - From Ivanova korita plain at 1240 altitude we will star our hike. This tour takes you through beautiful forests of beech trees and reveals stunning vistas of the coast. Divided into three parts, the tour will be most demanding in the first part as you will experience an altitude difference for about 300 meters soon followed by the beech forest. Then (optionally) we will have walk to the mountain peak Babina Glava (1474) with old Austro Hungarian fortification that had a purpose of observation point and from there you will have great view on some parts of our Adriatic coast.
The second part of the tour takes you on an easy walking path with views of the coast. The final part of this circle around tour brings you to the old village Dolovi, the sunshine village in the National park. The old hamlet Dolovi village will charm you with its ways. From there we hike back to the starting point. This morning hike will have 9.5 km length total ascent and descent are the same: 350 m. After we will have easy snack made of local specialties in one of the local restaurant at Ivanova Korita.
Njegos Mausoleum visit - We will visit its second highest peak - Lake Peak to see one of the most important cultural and historical monuments of Montenegro. You will climb 462 stairs so you can see and visit the mausoleum positioned on highest altitude in the world dedicated to Montenegro famous leader philosopher and poet Petar II Petrovic Njegos, from where you will have 360 degrees view on other zones of Montenegro. After, we will proceed toward Cetinje old royal capital to have lunch, and enjoy free time at charming Old royal capital of Montenegro – city museum.
After we will proceed back to our accommodation.
After the breakfast we will check out from hotel and depart in direction of north through the one of the most interesting and attractive canyon roads – River Moraca canyon. You will enjoy sightseeing, and make great photos along the way.
Bjelasica Mountain hiking tour - We will go up hill to Eco Katun Vranjak - that is summer pasture place of old Montenegro, located on altitude of 1750m bellow the highest mountain ridge of Bjelasica. This eco - village is starting point for the hike on the highest peaks of Bjelasica both of them above 2100 m. Ridge gives a unique 360 degrees view toward beautiful Pesica lake and many other mountains around especially towards the Cursed mountains - Albanian alps. Altitude difference is 300 m and the whole circle has around 11 km. Check in at accommodation in the north.
Biogradska Gora trekking - After the breakfast we will do check out from our accommodation and leave in direction of Biogradska Gora national park with its very popular tourist attraction, the Lake Biogradsko, and one of the oldest virgin forest in Europe. We will take a leisurely stroll around the lake with loads of photo opportunities to capture its breathtaking beauty. Total circle around lake is 3,2 km long and it is very easy walk.
After we leave the lake we will come to the zone of the Tara river canyon – Tara river known as a ‘Tear of Europe ‘ because of its pure drinkable water, is making deepest canyon in the Europe – 1300 m deep.
Black Lake & National Park Durmitor - You will enjoy amazing sightseeing with deep canyon on one side and high mountain range of Sinjajevina and Durmitor mountains on another side. On the end of the canyon ride will have a short break to visit famous Djurdjevica Tara bridge from 1937 on of the miracles of Yugoslavia old architecture. You can have a coffee, take photos, walk across the bridge. After, We will continue our ride for another 30 minutes and we will come to Zabljak – the biggest town at Durmitor national park zone. Our next stop will be at Black lake – the biggest and most popular among 18 glacial lakes of the Durmitor range. Walk around the lake last around 1h and it will take us through the unique pine forest and water springs that are flowing in the lake.
Savin Kuk hiking tour - After the breakfast we will take short ride to the starting point of our hiking tour. We will start from the famous local ski resort on the 1600m altitude. Ascending will last around 3hours and we will pass over 700 m altitude. Intensity of the tour is medium and there are no risky parts. In beginning we will use zig zag road and will pass next to the local sky lift, but it gets much more interesting when we get higher and when we reach the saddle between Savin Kuk and neighboring Sljeme (2445 m). There is a steep drop-off with gorgeous vistas of the Bear Ridge to the west. Even Bobotov Kuk, the highest peak of Durmitor, can be seen in the distance. From the saddle it took us a mere 10 minutes to hike the short distance to Savin Kuk’s wide summit area. On the highest peak (2313m) we can also enjoy view on the glacial lakes and among them most dominant Black lake that you have visited previous day. This is one of the easiest summits in Durmitor.
After the tour we will have free time for lunch and visit of the town centre,
